Before founding Gaw Law, Courtney worked at a boutique estate planning firm in the Napa Valley as an associate and partner.

Courtney started Gaw Law because she enjoys working with individuals and helping make the estate planning process as painless as possible. Courtney embraces innovation and technology in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and probate.

Courtney was trained by her father, David Gaw, a prestigious California estate planning attorney that has been teaching other attorneys and CPAs for decades about estate planning. Courtney continues to maintain a close relationship with her father, where she continues to draw from his experience. Courtney Gaw graduated law school from J. Reuben Clark Law School.

Courtney spends her free time remodeling her house with her spouse and spending time with her children. Courtney also enjoys playing board games and gardening.

Courtney is licensed to practice law in California. ​
